XMas and New Years

I'm here in San Francisco and while I really love this place it just doesn't "get" Christmas really... sure theres a skating rink downtown outside where you can go and listen to christmas carols and eat some crappy food while hurling accross the ice with your lover and 4 dozen random other people AND usre there is a christmas tree in union square and the shoppers are all merrily and frantically buying gifts for the people in their lives while sounds of music are piping with smells of pretzels into the cool noght street air BUT there are still palm trees, surfers in the water and no snow on the ground. So officially I'm calling SF one of the best cities except for this end of the year wintery stuff...

Now to my point: I am heading back to NYC for the week to spend some time with friends and relatives and relatives of friends but I only am wishing for a cold and snowy week filled with mistletoe, green stuff that smells great and lots of woodburning smells in the air... plus, i happen to love airplane food too..
