The Owl Mag reviews Viv's Sophomore album Flawed

Don't let the album title fool you: Flawed is far from imperfect. Ostrander's vocals have the same pick-me-up fun as Weezer and The Cars combined with the sincerity and sharpness of a modern lyricist.

ViV understands the importance of simplicity. Each song lends itself to the next and the instruments work together better than a coop in Berkeley. You'll find yourself hitting repeat on "Friends," singing along on "Did I," and reflecting on "Shine." But your best bet is to just let the album play straight through and listen.
